The popular social network, tumblr., has recently announced that it will now allow access to analytics with the upcoming launch of a free beta analytics platform via their partnership with Union Metrics.
For those luddites out there, here is a quick crash course to tumblr.. Tumblr, stylized as tumblr., is a microblogging platform and social networking website. The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can follow other users’ blogs, as well as make their blogs private. Much of the website’s features are accessed from the “dashboard” interface, where the option to post content and posts of followed blogs appear.
Union Metrics already offers a premium analytics dashboard designed to allow marketing agencies and their clients to track a large number of blogs and category trends. However, this new, free platform is designed for individual blogger use and will provide similar metrics to individual bloggers – those who make Tumblr the thriving creative community it is today. The new analytics service boasts a much more robust “dashboard” than other free tumblr analytics services – allowing users to track performance such as reblogs and likes, on posts individually and in aggregate, identify key amplifiers and analyze performance, tag and post type trends over time.
A free Union Metrics for Tumblr account will include:
- Post and note counts and trends over time
- Curator and influencer identification
- Post performance metrics
- Their cool reblog tree
- Tag and post type analysis
- And more…
Interested parties can sign up to join the waiting list for access. According to Union Metrics, the first round of users will gain entry within a few weeks. So keep an eye out and get excited!
